The 2007 Izoard is a morph of our two best selling bikes from the last two years: the 2006 Thor and the 2006 Izoard. The 2006 Thor was a huge success, and the new evolution of this bike is the 2007 Izoard. Lighter than both the 2006 Izoard and Thor frames, and equipped with a full carbon fork, the 2007 Izoard is available as a frameset to be custom spec'd with the parts of your choice.
The Izoard is made with a blend of high modulus and intermediate modulus carbon fibers, namely T40, T30, and T24. The Izoard is not as stiff or light as the Le Roi and Cento frames, so it tends to be more flexible and absorptive of road vibrations. Therefore the Izoard is best suited for longer rides and casual riding, but is still a great racing bike for the more cost conscious buyer.
